Too Darn Hot Makes Taking Debut

The first of our 10 Dark Horses wins by seven lengths.

The 6:35 Sandown - Slug And Lettuce 2-4-1 Tanqueray Thursday EBF Maiden Stakes over 7f on good to soft going, was turned into a procession with a masterful display.

Too Darn Hot delivered an impressive turn of foot when making his debut this evening justifying favouritism at 8/11f.

Frankie Dettori took the ride on this well-bred son of Dubawi, who is out of the exceptional mare Dar Re Mi (pictured). She won at the highest level for Lord Lloyd-Webber, winning over £2 Million in total prize earnings.

Similarly trained by John Gosden, Group Horse had our eye on this attractive bay colt who holds a Champagne Stakes (Group 2) entry.

Too Darn Hot was given a sublime ride by Dettori, challenging the early leader, Fraser Island, who was quickly brushed aside. Looking a touch inexperienced, he forged clear to win by many lengths.

An exciting prospect.
