Let's take a look at the races.
I will keep this brief as I'm busy working on other websites and updating information on Group Horse Daily.
1:10 Southwell -
Theatre Of War has won a race and well respected by connections. Like a few here, has to shoulder a win penalty.
Another entrant, the only horse for Adrian Nicholls, is Xtara who makes a return after a long break of almost 100-days.
Theatre Of War 11/4 2nd
Xtara 9/1 7th
Note: Theatre Of War didn't do much wrong under a penalty. Couldn't hold the late charge of Gremoboy. Xtara ran as though needing the run after a long absence.
5:15 Chelmsford -
California Love is one of Richard Spencer's better juveniles. This chestnut filly won on her second start. She has raced a pattern class on her last three starts and been relatively outclassed. Has a win penalty to defy but clearly a talented daughter of Sole Power.
Sirinapha hasn't achieved a great deal and unseated his jockey last time out. Has been given a Class 2 entry which may give a glimmer of hope but needs to show more.
Calfornia Love 6/4f 1st
Sirinapha 25/1 7th
Note: Dropped in class and easy success for California Love. Sirinapha will be better in handicaps.
6:45 Chelmsford -
The best two-year-old in Gary Moore's stable, Clara Peeters has been a consistent juveniles racing in the familiar silks of Richard Green. Won on the second start after a respectable debut. Last time stepping up to Listed class where she finished fifth. Has the apprentice jockey, Nicole Currie, in the hot seat to take 3lb off the win penalty.
Clara Peeters 6/1 5th
Note: Was held up at the back of the field and given a lot to do. Ran on well to finish 5th. Personally, I had a bet on Lady Lizzy who went well at huge odds on exchanges (17.5). Ran a great race. We don't just know about Group Horses - we know about everything when it comes to betting two-year-olds.
