Tisneverending is a significant entrant for Stan Moore. She has been flitting between the UK and France. Not the easiest horse to assess.
7:15 Chepstow -
An intriguing race. A few of these are worthy of note. Shaybani has to shoulder a win penalty but good enough to contest the Coventry Stakes (Group 2) at Royal Ascot. Wasn't disgraced in mid division.
David Evans is a fair judge and Disruptor is better than seen on his first two starts. Needed the run on debut, when finishing with verve. A beaten favourite next start when stepping up to six furlongs after a long break. Nothing much went right that day. He wasn't helped at all by running wide and then being pushed even wider on the final bend. In truth, there was a lot to like about that performance although backers where left frustrated. The race looked decent. It wouldn't be a surprise to see the first seven horses at Lingfield go on to win. If this wasn't such a stiff contest, I would be pretty keen on this French-bred colt hitting the frame if not winning. Not without a chance at fair odds.
I don't usually detail horses here if they haven't been given significant entries. However, there are a few horses which may be able opponents.
Roger Teal's Spirit Of May has very good win and place claims if priced 13/2 and less. Dutch Treat has fair each-way claims if priced 9/1 & less sp.
A tough race in ways but very interesting.
1:40 Newmarket -
This looks an ideal opportunity for Amy Murphy's Happy Odyssey. This bay daughter of Camacho may have been a cheap breeze-up purchase at just £14,000. However, this April foal was half fancied in the betting when finishing a creditable second to Country Rose who is sharp over five furlongs. She isn't much of a price but a recent Listed race entry gives some confidence. The stable have a couple of talented two-year-olds to give some measure.
2:20 Nottingham -
Richard Hughes has done a little better with this season's two-year-old string although he never fills me with confidence. Swiss Pride showed a glimmer of ability o debut, running on after a slow start. He is a willing type who battled when runner-up against The Last Party. Shame this is a seven-runner race for each-way bets. Should go well.
2:30 Newcastle -
Amadeus Grey made his debut at York when ''never dangerous''. He was quite fancied at Wetherby stepping up in distance and down in class. A creditable effort that day when second best. Could well start this at odds-on.
Mark Johnston's Aisling is no talent and one significant entry sometime back details a horse who is heading toward handicaps. She steps up in distance. Interesting to consider whether this is a plus or minus. The only thing I would say about this filly is that she hasn't had much go right in all three races so far: pulling too hard and then pushed far too wide last time out.
3:05 Newcastle -
Hugo Palmer hasn't set the world alight this season with his juveniles but there is still time to make his mark. Almufti cost 120,000G at the yearling sales and pretty strong in the betting on debut when starting at 3/1. This good-looking colt traveled well but tired in the closing stages. That was a very competitive debut, in a race worth over £30,000. I would expect a big run. Perhaps worthy of an interest if touching each way prices.
6:30 Hamilton -
Port Of Leith has been consistent although beaten on three start. The only horse to be given a significant entry.
Five two-year-old race for Monday. I will try to keep this as brief as possible because I am trying to do a million things at once.
2:05 Redcar -
Mark Johnston has been in very good form and details the only significant entry for with Aisling. This race type is restricted which usually favours proven form horses.Big Ace ran well last time out and looks a tough horse to beat. However, Johnston's daughter of Dream Ahead - a very cheap buy - has been given an entry of note so it will be interesting to see how she goes.
2:15 Carlisle -
Once again, Mark Johnston has the sole entry here with Hard Forest. A wide draw isn't ideal. She must be held in some regard by connections as received a couple of entries including a Listed race. This American-bred daughter of Hard Spun has looked a short runner but ran ok on a couple of occasions. She was readily outpointed at Yarmouth although the form of that race has been franked. Has plenty of pace so may try to get to the rail from this high draw. A slight concern about her tiring in the final furlong.
From a statistical point of view, True Mason could go very well. A wide draw isn't ideal. He ran in a decent race on debut and may have been bogged down with the mud or slightly in need of the run. The stable have been out of form which doesn't bring confidence but their fortunes will change sooner or later. Definitely one for the short list.
Cosmic Law was the more fancied of the two Fahey runners at Doncaster, where the outsider of the two prevailed. Cosmic Law was slow away from the stalls and never really involved. However, this son of No Nay Never stayed on in the closing stages without being pressed. I was quite taken with that effort and a horse who will progress. If drifting to each-way prices is worth a small bet.
6:00 Leicester -

6:15 Windsor -
Quite an interesting race. Richard Hannon's Come On Leicester cost 360,000gns at the breeze-up sales and ran well when making her debut at Ascot. She has a plum draw in stall one and a recent entry for the National Stakes Listed races gives the impression this should be a stepping stone to bigger fish.Whether you want to jump in at 4/5f is the only concern. Definitely the horse to beat.
Gay Kelleway's Elieden was a bargain buy at the breeze-up sales. An excellent purchase at £4,000. Interesting to note this small filly was entered to run at selling class but also higher profile races such as the Lily Agnes, a Class 2 contest and the National Stakes Listed. She was sent off a huge price on debut at Chester. A wide draw and slow start didn't help. However, she ran very well, finding trouble in running down the straight, but finished with some verve. There is always a chance she could have been slightly flattered. Recent entries suggest connections fancy she has ability. A wide draw isn't ideal here and she wouldn't be helped by another tardy start. If starting on terms, could well hold each-way claims at 12/1. The favourite looks hard to beat so if betting you may be wiser to have a point on the favourite and Elieden and just hope the jolly has a disaster.
Richard Hughes has a number of two-year-olds. They often struggle to win but show form. Kadiz traveled well on debut but went a stride too fast and looked to hate the testing conditions at Salisbury. If back to her best, could hold claims. A wide draw isn't ideal but she should have the pace to sit handy if her rider chooses. A hood has been applied which is a slight negative.

An EBF Novice Stakes over 4f 217y on good to firm going.
Ed Walker has a nice prospect with On The Stage. Interesting that Dark Panther has been noted by the trainer. This Irish-bred son of Dandyman was relatively fancied on debut at Brighton but ran horrendously. A huge price today. Sometimes the worse they look on debut the better they go second start. Needs a leap of faith.

Richard Hughes' charge is the only significantly entered two-year-old in this race. Wolf Hunter showed zilch on debut at Bath when trailing home in the mud. This son of Sir Prancealot ruined his chance when returning to Kempton in what looked to be a fairly hot race. He was keen and ran wide on the bend which all but ruined any chance of winning. However, this chestnut colt made eye-catching progress in the closing furlong suggesting he is capable of much better. This juvenile doesn't look the easiest horse to ride and temperamental which is never good news. Could go well but you are taking a gamble whether he settles or not. Slightly off putting.

1:55 Beverley -
Carey Street - trained by John Quinn - looked to be well beaten in the Brocklesby Conditions Stakes. However, he ran out a decent winner at Pontefract. A seven pound penalty will make life more difficult. Looks the type to lead and try to hold on.
2:15 Bath -
A number of significantly entered juveniles and form horses. Lady Wolf is a big price for Rod Millman. He does pretty well at this course and can win at big odds so worthy of some respect even at 33-1. Popping Corks doesn't look overly fancied in the betting but noted by the trainer. Similarly, Richard Hughes Queen Shaahd is one of a few juveniles noted by the ex jockey. The betting suggests form horses are favoured. Karalini was a short price on debut at Windsor. A good-looking filly. The prize on debut looks significant and the form of that race hasn't turned out too bad. In addition, there was a lot to like about John Quinn's Signora Cabello. She is a sturdy-looking filly with some size and strength. The first five beat the rest of the field at Beverley by a fair distance. She will improve for that debut and should hit the frame. An interesting race in ways with the two form horses and a few debutantes who may have a glimmer of ability at prices.
2:30 Beverley -
A couple of significant entries here with twice-raced Wasntexpectingthat, who hit the frame on debut when contesting the Brocklesby. Richard Fahey's charge looked to have a great opportunity on his second start at Thirsk. However, the champagne corks were popping from halfway when Vintage Krug blasted clear of the field for Tim Easterby. Wasntexpectingthat is a professional horse and the type to run his race. The form of the Brocklesby has been franked so this looks within his compass if not being vulnerable to a smarter type. Tom Dascombe has been giving a few two-year-olds entries for the Lily Agnes Stakes which takes place this week at Chester. Five Helmets is one of five juveniles entered for the Lily Agnes. He is taking this route, which is probably a blessing. One of the more interesting horses here. Big Ace doesn't have any significant entries at present but ran well at Pontefract on debut from a wide draw and ran wide most of the way.
4:00 Bath -
Ginger Nut has been relatively fancied on both starts to date. She definitely went a stride too fast last time out at Salisbury in the testing ground. This going will be more suiting and I would expect a bold show. If drifting to each-way prices must show more today. Five Amarones has been given a couple of entries from Tom Dascombe. This bay colt was fancied on debut at Pontefract but not best away. He ran on well and will improve. Should figure. Richard Hughes has another entered juvenile making his debut. Swiss Pride is worth noting although the trainer is difficult to asses at times. Clevedon ran in the Brocklesby but achieved little.
Conclusion: Ginger Nut and Five Amerones look decent prospects and unless Swiss Pride is better than not should fight it out.
